Planning, Down to the Personalized Napkins

If you are planning a banquet event and need a little advice, never fear, I’m here to help you make the most of this normally terrifying experience.  First of all you need to determine what you budget – or the budget of your group – is.  Once you have determined this number, and be sure to be very specific, because this is where it really counts, you are ready to being putting a party together.  First, let’s talk about place keepers, nametags, or whatever else you were planning on using.  The most simplistic way to get both a nametag and a napkin on a plate is personalized napkins.  Personalized napkins might sound expensive, and they could be, but you don’t have to spend a small fortune.  Simply getting a small, easy to write on decorative napkin roller and writing a name on it can save you a lot of money, provided you have the time to do that.

But napkins aren’t the only thing that you have to work on.  You also need the tables to look presentable, and therefore should invest in some type of tablecloth.  There are many types, shapes, and sizes, from round tablecloths to full silk tablecloths.  This is a decision that should reflect a little bit of your own personal taste, and that’s not a problem.  Remember that you must also make colors coordinate so that things don’t look out of place.
